KX 250 VS YZ 250
Re: KX 250 VS YZ 250
I'd imagine you would have less issues with the KTM than the TM. Some of those exotic bikes have little annoying things that go wrong with them. But the TM's are just so damn trick.
Re: KX 250 VS YZ 250
One thing worth noting, is that the YZ250 will have much better suspension than the KX. Pretty sure its running whats on the current 4 strokes, which generally get pretty good reviews in magazines.

I've seen it happen. It isn't usually the frame though. Triple clamps or something.Ballsfalsky wrote:Their frames don't randomly break.

Dont say too much shit about the KTM. It's an amazing bike and it dont just brake if a fat fucker sist on it. I takes alittle of overjump to brake it in halv. About the TM there is some goodies and bad ones.
Bad
There aint too much companies having TM stores. Atleast not here.
Money. Way more expencive than the other.
Good
They have Excel Rims, Vforce and Ohlins suspension so thats the money builder on that i guess.
But IMO, if you take care of your bike. It wont blow up or whatever.

While that may not reflect well on KTM generally, you are talking about the four-strokes. Not even God can make a reliable yet fast 250 four-stroke, even if he chose to incarnate as one. The 250sx is not fuel-injected and I guarantee the cylinder head won't crack.
But my next bike will probably be a yz250 also, there's no way I could afford a 2012 bike, and I wouldn't get a KTM without the linkage.

im getting one used and having it rebuilt. i hate 250f unless you put alot of money into it its semi fun. even then ur paying tripple the ammount for maintness compared to the great almighty 2 stroke.Axle McOctane wrote:While that may not reflect well on KTM generally, you are talking about the four-strokes.
