Track is brilliant.

I love it. thanks to everyone involved.

I have a question - it "feels" like there are two types of traction on this track.

Am I imagining it?
It seems like after the point in the image below - the dirt has less rolling resistance, and I can accelerate easier.

The three of you made a great job. Just wish you had more time to make it even better.

Congrats

Well shit, I stand corrected. I thought the sand tile went around the whole track

Are you sure DJ? Remove the decals file from the track folder and open up the game again and you will see where the tilemap changes. Looking in the tileinfo file the two different tilemaps used for the track have different values.

It actually starts at the Chadapult. I guess Checkerz or Hagg made it like that so this hills arent such a problem for the smaller bikes

Sick track. Thanks for all your hard work guys. This and thunder valley are my two favorites so far.

Wow - just rode the track without decals to see where the tiles change.
Decals make such a HUGE difference.
Amazing that you can "feel" the traction difference (a bit sad that I only notice the difference a few corners later though)

Funny you should say that. The track was originally textured by haggqvist. It looked similar to how he did hangtown, freestone etc. I switched in my texture from the old millville because the smooth look of haggqvists textures just didn't feel right. It's amazing how the look of the track can make a difference mentally.

Given it a ride and gotta say its by far the best riding / fun track.

Ofcourse all the others look just as good but this track just rewards you so much and really pulls me in making me want to go faster. Still crash alot though. :)

Did'nt notice the change in of traction myself but its very hard to notice somthing like that when theres no feeling through the controller like you'd get with a console racer.

I've got nothing bad to say tracks just super fun great job to all involved in such a short time.

Amazing what can be done when your minds put to it.
