Sound like an absolute idiot here, but could someone PLEASE export just the bike(Frame, forks, etc etc) as an .obj for me? I just installed blender and oh my god I absolutely HATE it. :(

Does anyone know how to make a shiny PC Kawasaki-like plastic effect? Do you do that with a spec map? PM me if you can make me a spec map with that effect, there's a strip down the side of my graphics and I think that kind of effect would make it look sick.

I think he is talking about the shiny hologram effect they do no the pc bikes. That would be done by a spec map.

Not being lazy, it's the fact I have no idea how to use blender and I can't get on with the interface

With blender you don't use the interface. Learn the hotkeys of blender. To export a model all you have to is file-> export-> wavefront(.obj). You import the same way just like every other program out there.

if m121c is right, then Devin ask Grizz, since he used that for their stheart bike I believe

forrest - select bike by mouse then file/export/Wavefront(.obj) is it really that hard?

And then I end up with this mess, all of which is one object.

If there are multiple objects and you only want to export the one you selected, when you are in the middle of setting where to export the OBJ and what to name it, look to the left and down a little, and you will see "Selection Only." Check the box and then continue with exporting.
