CMON people don't you know Phathry is perfect, and everyone else needs to learn how to ride like him!
Re: 2013 MotoOption SX Series presented by FLY Racing
Gang up on me all you'd like. It's not going to change the fact that I am able to comprehend the rules that rF has set.
Let this be made very clear, the extent of my "bitching and moaning" about these two protests was solely submitting the protests. Sween streams the 450 races, so had I said anything to him it would have been on the stream. After the 450 LCQ I closed the game and signed off TS and haven't loaded either since then, shit this is the second time I have bothered to visit the forum since.
You say that I am not the cleanest rider on the track, first that's funny because its your actions off the side of the track that got your ass in hot water, and second by submitting protests I am no doubt putting my own racing "under the microscope". Yet nobody has lodged a protest against me. Weird how that works out, right?
The good news is that you guys have finally ran me out of the community. So now you can finally have that free for all racing you've been wanting.

Honestly, It seems like I need to just start protesting every rider that comes in contact with me or gets in my way or causes me to lose my concentration at this point. I've had my fair share of bullshit experiences with other riders on the track, but as a mature veteran player of this game i have learned to get over it, respect how people ride, and move on, unless they are absolutely out of line.
Mark isn't exactly the cleanest rider on the track, either... but for some reason his bitching and moaning gets heard.
Thats why people dont like you Phathry , u Always are trying to f*ck everyone , When Jlv was the Organizator of the races in 2010 , u always was trying to take me out , u are very dirty too, and i got suspended just because i doubled one triple , and you jumped into me , i just dont stayed straight after double , because i was going to the corner.. If i start to protest everyone who crash me , just 10 riders will race at main event of 450... always i get fucked from many riders on heat.

I just made the video to show those ones. Honestly shack, I'm really bummed too. A top 10 450 rider is left out of round 6 because Phat wanted to protest you for pulling on track in front of him in 16th place and he ran directly into you and crashed. I almost feel like he could have maybe conversed with you, not like it made the difference between qualifying and not like some of the other ones. However, I've been simply suspending people for that, ask Juan, Dudu, Nash, Peter, etc, so I need to stick with it. Not sure if I like where penalties are currently going though looking back at the past 2 rounds. I sincerely hope people don't start protesting every little thing, as I don't think that is necessarily the answer, but unfortunately I'm just trying to be consistent with rulings. I am willing to re-look at it with some people, but phat was doubling into the corner and the mini map was clearly showing him behind you, and you pulled onto the track in the entrance to the corner.ShackAttack12 wrote:I would like an explanation as to what i did wrong as you seemed to have forgotten to talk about my suspension in the video.

Also, everyone seems to be up in arms over these protests, well at least the people being punished...Can I get some outside opinions? (meaning people NOT affected by these decisions) Too harsh? Good to clean up riders re-entering the race? Ridiculous? Limit # of protests each rider can place? ProtestING rider's race is also analyzed for penalties? Idk what the answer is, but I'm open to suggestions. I hate being the "protest" guy btw, but I'm assuming I'm the only one willing to consistently do this week in and week out....ugh
Please keep in mind, that the easiest crashes to avoid are ones where a rider just comes onto the track in front of people. Granted accidents happen, but this seems to happen all too often. If you go off track, yes you may lose a lot of positions, but it's better than being suspended, is the message I'm trying to send. Be patient, wait for a clearing, then pull onto the track.
Re: 2013 MotoOption SX Series presented by FLY Racing
I've made a few mains and scored as high as 11th in the 450 class so I feel I have a semi valid opinion on the subject.
You say a few times "ruining people's race" and I don't feel 1 minor misdemeanor in a main, or heat race, is ruining someone's race. In the case of Botten however he definitely deserved what he got from rd. 4. With a clean track record for the past few years I don't think pulling out in front of 1 rider the entire race is an intentional stupid decision and I don't feel it warrants a 1 race ban.
I would assess the Leik and Haskel penalties as (at the worst) a time penalty of 1-5 seconds. I would have to say Juan's incident would also be a time penalty of the same (from rd. 4). If Juan nailed Phat, got up, and proceeded to hit him again in the next corner then more serious penalties could be considered.
I know the rF rulebook is written to handle these issues but morally where do you draw the line with severe penalties on known clean riders?

That's not true. I'm not a fan of Phat because of his personality. But you can't overlook what he HAS done for the community. What have you done? Majority of the time, the only ppl that are heard out or taken seriously are ppl who have been here forever or are friends with somebody.Juan357 wrote:Thats why people dont like you Phathry , u Always are trying to f*ck everyone , When Jlv was the Organizator of the races in 2010 , u always was trying to take me out , u are very dirty too, and i got suspended just because i doubled one triple , and you jumped into me , i just dont stayed straight after double , because i was going to the corner.. Don't people have to submit protests within 30 minutes after the event now? It seems like a lot of people would still be heated about the race then, so they are just trying to get back at a person that ruined their race or something. I feel like people pulling onto the track and getting hit is just something that happens. I think protests should really only be for intentionally punting people, or blocking guys that are lapping you, or stuff like that.
Re: 2013 MotoOption SX Series presented by FLY Racing
This sounds good to me. If it's something that wasn't really intentional, then some position or time docking would probably be good.ddmx wrote:I would assess the Leik and Haskel penalties as (at the worst) a time penalty of 1-5 seconds.
