I'm pretty sure it is because of the exhaust skin doesn't fit the exhaust model....I suggest to get the honda template/model T-rider released recently. that one should be working good.

Hi guys,
I have a question (problably a noob question but i dont care). I downloaded the T-Rider 2013 honda and the fly F16 gear from Brina927. I made on both my own skins but I dont know the safe lines for the bike and the gear... I looked in the discription and comments for it but it was not there. For the honda i tried things like crf450v2013-skinname but that didnt work... please help me out!

I don't have these downloaded now, so just ideas how to get the right name - if there are jms released, check its names, then its clear how to name it ....(eg. jm for the gear is rider_body-2013 Fly.jm, skins will be rider_body-2013 Fly-skinname.png)
if they are safed you can open the saf in notepad and check the name of them in one of the first lines)....or go to game and check the original gear name (ingame its always: MODELNAME-SKINNAME) so you will name your gear rider_body-MODELNAME-Yourskinname.png)
same for the bike....ingame it will be in crf450(2013) then in the rollout you will see again MODELNAME-SKINNAME...so you will name your skin crf450v2013-MODELNAME-yourskinname.png)
if you follow one of these you should be able to see it

Thanks p2sta for answering my noob questions but i named it as crf450v2013-RT2013-Test and put those four jms in my file:
-crf450_fork_upper-RT2013.jm
-crf450_frame-RT2013.jm
-crf450_swingarm-RT2013.jm
-crf450_fork_lower-RT2013.jm
But in the game it says:
cant load @crf450v2013_fork_upper-RT2013.jm
and the other three ones...
This is my last try, otherwise i quit skinning haha

check your own message and tell me if you can't see whats wrong....obviously you have the jms for crf450 and the skin for crf450v2013...that will not work, both needs to be for same...change the skin to crf450-RT2013-Test.png and it should work

quick fix here id have to think. got my sad attempt at the 2013 kx-f in game (without unwrapping yet) and for some reason the frame .jm isnt centered. i applied rotation and scale to every group too. every other part exported fine but the frame. any ideas why?

but i just changed around stevo's bike....the origin points should already be set right? all the other parts are in the right position...just not the frame group. how would i go about changing the origin points?

line it up with DJ's yamaha and look at where his origin point is for his frame. get your cursor over his origin point and hit i believe shift+control+alt+C and origin to 3d cursor

I need help. In my viewport there seems to be something wrong allthough I did not change anything. Here is the problem:

My textures are very blurry. This only happens in the viewport, in the render it looks allright and sharp.
I allready tried this solution I found on the Internet but it did not help.
Go to "Configure->Preferences->Viewports->Configure Driver"
set the "Download Texture Size" to a higher value (or choose "match bitmap as close as possible").
If your textures have already been loaded, you will need to either:
go to each texture in the material editor and click on "reload"
or restart Max.

ouh ... nevermind I updated my drivers and restarted my computer. Now everything is looking normal now.

I would like to help you but i cant see the picture. But if you want to skin a bike you will have to open the template in Gimp or Photoshop and draw/paint on it.
