Chris gave him the same feedback and you took it ok. It is only one color, like it looks like you just put a brown overlay for the track and are relying on the normals to do the work. If it means I'm wrong then whatever but, the dirt looks fake.Yamahaman95 wrote:haha, thats really the only shiney part on the track, i made the tractor parts shiny as if just freshly packed down, everything else isnt really that shiney , i hate tracks that look frozen lol thanks for the feedback chris! and everyone else!checkerz wrote: The dirt looks like it could use some variation in color in it and is a touch shiney.

I agree the jump face ones look awesome. The corner ones, instead of 4 or 5 lines, try to get the lines to converge into 1 wider packed line. Usually corner ruts develop a bit wider and multiple angles will merge into and then spread away from coming out. That should help.JT43 wrote:Hey Guys, im making a new track, its not a replica, its just been created by ideas in my head. The track is no where near done yet, but what do you guys think think of these decals? Personally i really like the straight and jump decals, but the corner decals... i think they look terrible. So does anyone have any suggestions for the corners? Thanks -JT

I have been replicating Winchester Speedpark and this is what I have so far. It is my first track and it still needs a lot of work.

Nice effort Nsteezy for a first track, don't rush a release....the more time you can spend on it the better

Well said waynesim, seriously, don't release it until you think it is brilliant/perfect. Because if you so carry onto build tracks you will look back on this and think it is crap.... Only of you rushed It though

Re: Upcoming Tracks and Track Objects #2

the idea is to have a whip contest or show or somthing to help pass the time while im getting the scripts ready for the race, hoping mikey or some other people would be down to do that for the events we have the jump, and for the events we dont, the idea is to have someone doing a KDub for the show

I like the idea you have. Great looking track though, can't wait for a release.!
