No one joins teams without at least a decent title sponsor. Ask around, send emails, get some support. A team name that resembles not being on a team is going to flounder, just because it doesn't make sense. Might sound a bit harsh, but that's the reality of it.

Coupons and shit don't matter, it's getting noticed that will help your team grow. Having a logo to put on the bike and a decently famous title sponsor that people will recognize and relate to is the best way to get noticed, undoubtedly. This is just about getting the publicity, whether or not the company hands out free shit to you.

In a nutshell Ryan is saying you will get recognized easier as a team if you have a real "Brand Name" as your team name. For Ex. Motoplayground, EVS, Moto Option. Unless you are winning and have a fast team you wont be noticed.

My Opinion having a team is just for the fun of it. Ride with some friends, and get noticed through there. Good luck with your team though.
