leatt-brace

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

leatt-brace

Post by dearnhardtfan7 »

I found out just a little while ago that one of my fellow local competitors, Jacob Nash lost his life in a tragic accident at Thunder Valley Mx, in Tennessee this afternoon. Jacob went over the bars and went head-first into a roller. He was not wearing a leatt. I am curious as to how many people on here wear one. I absolutely refuse to ride without mine. I hear people saying that theyre uncomfortable or annoying and I just don't understand. Personally I would rather be a little uncomfortable for a 30 min. moto, than to have to let my family and friends go the rest of their lives dealing with the pain of me losing my life. Is it really worth it? You wouldn't go out and do a moto without your helmet would you? I sincerely hope not. Same thing goes with people complaining about the price. Do you not think your life is worth 500 dollars? Jacob's family and friends had to watch him being loaded into the helicopter and taken away only to find out that he was deceased on the moment of impact. Please, I am begging you, don't risk your life by riding without some sort of neck brace. IT IS NOT WORTH IT! If this post gets to even one person then it is a success, but please everyone who reads this, please do not take this lightly. Your life is too precious. Go out and live your life to the fullest because you truly never know what breath may be your last. Thank you for your time.

I never ride without it, don't even notice it, and gladly payed 400 dollars for it.

i have the club which is the middle one. There is a sport, and the new leatt adventure. The adventure is the cheapest, but not as adjustable as the others.

If money's tight, get the 200 dollar adventure. Personally, Right now I'm budgeting for the 400 dollar one (much better than the adventure due that you can adjust it), and knee braces...

I have the club. Even riding with jeans and a helmet on i still wear it. I had a neck doughnut before but I got knocked out with it. My rents bought me the leatt brace shortly after and it is the most comfortable piece of equipment I wear besides my EVS knee braces.

I actually bought a Adventure brace earlier today. Along with gaskets, a kick assembly, and a shifter. (Piece of shit Yamaha..)

Riding with a leatt is like riding with boots. You cant ride good without it. Honestly though, I dont know how much it would do for you in that case? Depending on how he hit, I dont think it would have done much good in that case. Im an EMT too, so I would know.

hey man I am really sorry to hear about your buddy, for some reason a death in realation to the sport really seems to hit home. I really think we all owe it to our family and freinds to be as safe as we can be out on the track.
