Yea he killed it on the stadium and in very little time too.AWood wrote:Thank you barrington and SMR. New stadium is BADASS! All the new models looked amazing. And those semis. Hope JLV will break the usual and use your new stadium for Vegas 2014. Sickest stadium ever.

Re: 2013 MX Sim Cup (Monster energy cup)
so here is my review of the track (i know you probably don't give two shits but it is constructive)
at first laps glance the track just kind of had a feel of being thrown together, some things really didn't seem to have smooth transitions. The supercross triple...well...in my opinion...i think the conversation went like this "you see that guy in AM case that triple?" "Yeah" "it must be hard then, i guess ill just make it fucking huge" (not trying to be a dick) but seriously, superminis were hitting that triple, hoeft admitted he missed his shift, so i don't see the need to make a 200ft triple for sim. in my thrown together version i made it like 110 and had the lip a little more steep then usual. that's just me, i also feel your ruts need to be more aggressive, they are mellow and not very steep. overall it was an ok track, the original track design wasn't great to start with
thanks for putting in the work to give us a new track to race!

Re: 2013 MX Sim Cup (Monster energy cup)
What was making the track so laggy in spots? There wasn't any ground breaking amount of textures on there or a lot of flash or anything. I was told my ramp was the problem but its really not a high tri count at all and the collisions aren't to extreme on it, on my whip compound I have about 5 of them on there and some are side by side with no problems.
Track was fun, kinda felt like I was playing Reflex though. Realistic wise I don't think it was very close but it definitely made things a challenge which I like.
Overall good job everyone involved! Sucks I missed out on the racing!

Re: 2013 MX Sim Cup (Monster energy cup)
The jump in real life was 100 feet. upscaled from most SX triples, the scale was 1.25 so to make it "to scale" the triple was made to be 125 "sim-feet" everything else was scaled off that.Yamahaman95 wrote:so here is my review of the track (i know you probably don't give two shits but it is constructive)

Its 125 feet based off it being 100 feet IRL. (1.25:1) not 200 feet.Yamahaman95 wrote:so here is my review of the track (i know you probably don't give two shits but it is constructive)

Also the whole supermini theory, lets not forget that those things have a really good HP to weight ratio, including the rider. Lets not forget that those are also the best Am and supermini riders in the country, if not world.
And i was just making a funny about that video in the other thread because we were all in TS last night watching the am's hit that having a good ol time.
Seemed like everyone had fun lastnight and thats what i was aiming for.
Mason, I think it might be the mass amount of bales. I think I have quite a bit more on there than JLV typically uses. Sucks if thats the problem because I personally like the look of having more bales.
I really dont think it would have anything to do with that ramp.

Re: 2013 MX Sim Cup (Monster energy cup)
BTW, if I can jump everything on a 125 just like they were doing IRL in the pro class (minus the quad over the table) then IDK how much easier you expect I should make the stuff. The 450 lines would be insane. I hope you can understand that. Thats also the case with making larger berms that most people seem to want on JLVs tracks. Its really hard to do that and not cause some massive unrealistic line.

Well, don´t forget that most of this bikes is 112cc not 85 so they are almost as a 125cc bike but with alot of performance partsbarrington314 wrote:Its 125 feet based off it being 100 feet IRL. Strange the bales would do that but I could see that being a possibility with the collision files. Sucks, more bales looks more legit.

I honestly never thought there would be people that would have this track and not have 2013 supercross.KarlssonRacing wrote:[img]https://imageshack.com/scaled/large/841/hd6b.png[mg] A problem for me.. the decals doesn´t show up.

You need 2013 supercross.

Yeah I wondered why this track was a little laggy. Fun track still.
