Re: leatt-brace
leattbrace is designed to the comfortability, its adjustable in all the ways, unless you have the style of bubba it could have some complications

Re: leatt-brace
I have one and i think it's saved me from being Paralised two times now ... when over bars head first and when my throttle stuck open.
It really is worth it. and it makes me feel more confident when wearing one, like i feel i can through the bike into tight U turns and i'll be fine because i feel safe with the brace on.
i havent seen anyone with alpinestars brace yet. are they any different?

There iffy. they sit lower so you have more movement with your head, but they look cheaply made (even though there 700 bucks). For now stick with the leatt.iiMaTxX wrote:I have one and i think it's saved me from being Paralised two times now ... when over bars head first and when my throttle stuck open.

Re: leatt-brace
Just for clarification to everyone - Jacob was wearing a Leatt brace. He never rode without it.

Jacob went over the bars and went head-first into a roller. He was not wearing a leatt. I am curious as to how many people on here wear one. I absolutely refuse to ride without mine. I hear people saying that theyre uncomfortable or annoying and I just don't understand. Personally I would rather be a little uncomfortable for a 30 min. moto, than to have to let my family and friends go the rest of their lives dealing with the pain of me losing my life. Is it really worth it? You wouldn't go out and do a moto without your helmet would you? I sincerely hope not. Same thing goes with people complaining about the price. Do you not think your life is worth 500 dollars? Jacob's family and friends had to watch him being loaded into the helicopter and taken away only to find out that he was deceased on the moment of impact. Please, I am begging you, don't risk your life by riding without some sort of neck brace. IT IS NOT WORTH IT! If this post gets to even one person then it is a success, but please everyone who reads this, please do not take this lightly. Your life is too precious. Go out and live your life to the fullest because you truly never know what breath may be your last. Thank you for your time.
Oh and I would also suggest "dearnhardfan7", to have your facts straight before you post something like this.

Re: leatt-brace
because he is Jacob's brother and he wants to make sure everyone knows the true facts. I have talked to him and everything's good. Not akward.

Re: leatt-brace
I'm sincerely sorry for my sence of attitude. dearnhardfan7 is correct on the last post - I only wanted to clarify the facts.
Re: leatt-brace
OK, first part was towards you 150, It's 2months old so there for the string of celb deaths doesn't really tie in with this. The second part of bringing back up was towards jnash, though that's been resolved already.
