Anyone see this rule for 250 2-strokes in Australia next year? http://motocrossactionmag.com/home-page ... ur-strokes Pretty much all the factory teams that have limitations on what bike they can use are pissed privateers actually have a chance on a better bike . Next year no 250 2-stroke in the MX2 class can have aftermarket reeds, piston, or porting (setting squish still allowed). I really don't see WHY Yamaha/KTM/Husaberg won't have a 250 2-stroke in their factory lineup in the MX2 class during nationals since it's allowed there. It's still publicizing the bikes! You're trying to sell and make money off them right? Obviously don't put the star guy who's more likely to win on it since the main argument against this idea is making the 4-strokes look bad, but at least take somewhat advantage of the rule. Just hate how still at a smaller sport like ours money still rules everything...

I think the point a lot of people are missing is that if you take the 250t out of the series. There will be literally 10 people on the gate. The beauty of the 250t is the privateer can buy one and throw a pipe on and they have a competitive and reliable bike. The sport of motocross in Australia is up shit creek in a serious way.

First race on the new bike was yesterday. It was the Virginia State Championship so a surprising crowd showed up. Came out with a 8-3-4-3 and a 3rd and a 5th OA. Only got the bike a week ago and I get one of the best finishes of the year on it with stock suspension. I think I'm going to stop racing C and just race Unlimited Am and Schoolboy/Collegeboy. I'm not goony enough for C but I'm not fast enough for B.
