Re: Racing
There are a few different options you have for racing in this game. Racefactorygaming.com is a main racing series which runs each replica SX and MX track each weekend the real life races happen. You can head over to their website and create an account and select your time zone. The upcoming race is the Mx sim cup. You can read the details and find dates and times on the website. mxsemf.com is also another series, but they are in Europe so times may not work you here. Good luck! Also, a lot of people use Sony Vegas for their recording.

Re: Racing
Fraps has a free version that records in 30 sec. clips and has the logo on the top of the screen.

MSI after burner is free and quality.
The GeForce program thing offers recording too and is also quality. If you have an nVidia card.
