Josh Hill can still finish top 10 in SX (maybe top 5 on a good night), even in his form right now. He will beat some people.ShackAttack12 wrote:and I hope Josh at least beats 1 person this weekend.

I just hope he dosen't blow it and injure himself again. He said openly "I'm no triathlete". After the big injury it was a pretty hard slog to keep in shape, manage pain and push harder than the average rider to get results. He's found a perfect fit in his new career.ShackAttack12 wrote:I hope Josh at least beats 1 person this weekend.

He still managed to run up front, win heat races, and be a threat for top 5's post-femur injury.
Dude can still ride, just won in Sweden at that off-season Supercross race, and on a short sprint like straight rhythm he can still do well.
My only question is the suspension on that thing, is it just like a normal bike with traditional suspension?

Re: 2017 Supercross Discussion
It actually comes with WP stock stuff, It says the top speed is 65, but correct me if im wrong a 250f will do close to 100 or so, even though the Alta will reach top speed faster i dont see this bike making its way to the top pro ranks atleast not in the next couple years, maybe when my kids are grown up. Also, i have to imagine that it would be great with suspension simply due to the fact that it would always feel like you were riding at low rpms like you're supposed too.
Re: 2017 Supercross Discussion
I know Keefer did testing on it, if I'm not mistaken it has similar geometry to a CRF. I'm wondering how it works with the single speed transmission though.

Re: 2017 Supercross Discussion
Twist the throttle and hold on. With 36ft/lb of max torque, it has the torque of a modern 450 and the peak HP of a modern 250f. The difference is that the motor can put out 36ft/lb of torque at 0rpm, so instantly! At 250lbs, It weighs just as much as a fully fueled 450. Those are very impressive numbers. If they have the ergo's and suspension figured out, I bet its a blast to ride.yzmxer608 wrote:I know Keefer did testing on it, if I'm not mistaken it has similar geometry to a CRF. With tall gearing comes short battery life i'd bet. I thought I saw someone asking about pricing. I looked up sales figures and found that they dropped in August, so prolly not many sold yet. RBSR should boost sales considerably. Here's price and assembly time-lapse.

Hell yeah they do. They look awesome! Cool to see the start inside the stadium in Vegas. I really hated it being outside

Re: 2017 Supercross Discussion
They actively tried to not use 90 degree corners and all of the tracks look super cool. Who knew?
Re: 2017 Supercross Discussion
Anyone know where the blueprints for '17 SX track maps will be? Sometimes they are posted on the ticket website in the stadium, but they become harder to find every year.
Re: 2017 Supercross Discussion
