Maybe the pros should be thankful there are so many ams willing to pay, because without us rf would surely die and nobody would get to race. They by far get most of their donations from ams so be thankful for us. Dicks

Did you miss this? It wont die because there is no ams lmao

Well since I'm not certain of what all was missed, I'm confident that whatever was missed will be made up. Exactly how and when, I am not sure. Let us have the day and get to the weekend and I'm sure we will talk about it and figure something out. Thanks.

So yeah, Root you suck
I find sarky comebacks better than across the track punts

So yeah, I do make sarky comebacks.

Do the math. 100 pros, $2500. 300 ams, $7,500. You really think $2500 alone is going to make rf keep putting on races? And wish i could leave the am class but im just not as special as most of you guys

Clearly it doesn't get said enough, but thank you to everyone at rF for all you do. I feel like it's kind of a silent majority thing, like the few people who are actually dicks are the loudest out of all of us, but plenty of us do truly appreciate all the work you do. Nobody's perfect, but if we all just left our criticism and moved on the forums would be a much nicer place. For example:

I think it'd be nice if there was some more communication between the event organizers and the racers, especially on race days where things tend to get hectic. I get that you're all busy and sim isn't your primary focus in life, but some more communication would still be nice.

Ta da. No dickery, no whining. It's that easy.
"I'm usually pretty nice but I was just kind of heated in the moment when I was telling you to kys." -Congrats, you're still a dick.
Being upset is fine, being a dick is not. Shall we append the rulebook?
Rule #1: Don't be a dick.
Rule #2: Refer to Rule #1.

TL;DR - I hate everyone. Why can't we be friends?
/rant

Anyhoo, on another note, do y'all think we'll be good for open night on Sunday? It'll be the first round I can actually race except that one time I joined the wrong server so I'm pumped to finally get some race time :D

Just now had a chance to check back into this forum and see what is going on. Really sucks to hear that issues came up and all the trash that was thrown around. Trust me I get why some of you are mad and feel like AMs is not treated the same way. If you guys at RF need me to host AMs again like I did last year hit me up. I know how the script works and I would be there watching anyways. You have my email

I see both sides of the argument. However, amateurs have more classes than pros and the result of that is longer nights of racing. The guys hosting have a wife, job, etc. RF isn't their full-time job. If it was, then it would be possible for them to host the races without any problems. The issue here is the automated scripts, it's a complicated system that has had problems in the past and if anything goes wrong, nobody is there to fix it. Ultimately, someone needs to step up and host Amateur nights of racing so the Amateurs don't riot (like they do every week).
