ok i was wondering if any had any good setups for sx. i use all stock setting and im tired of puting around the turn ive seen some vids where people just rail em. i aint on arcade.. but i do have stability on 60. been playing this game for about 2 or 3 months... just askin for some help thanx...also is there any tip to keep ur front nice and settled.. i know gas it off the lip but ive seen people front end act lie they were on arcade but there not... could this be something done in setup? Thanx

I suggest that you train and simply lower stability like 60-45 and 45-30 and then like 30-15..then when you can ride with 5-20 stability without crashing (in some tracks) you wana train more and try the setup aplication. that way you can adjust the setups more, or go hidden menu.

alright ill for sure take that into consideration.. but yea i was talking about like the suspension and shock setup and i was also finding how to set up ur rider wich is way wierd. I know im just tired of going into the whoops and getting woobly! or my front end comes up. i dont know im kind of new to this game... but just want to learn and get faster!

My personal preference in to use controller (xbox360 or ps3) at around 15-25 stability. It will be twitchy at first but it enables you to do soo many things well. Having analog inputs is so much better than on/off.

Suspension: I like to lower the compression damping and crank up the rebound in the rear, mostly cause I am a newb and hate going over the bars (and it let's you do bigger whips without nosediving as much). The problem is that if you go too far you will pack and bottom out on whoops and bigger jumps, but I am no good at whoops anyway so I just go slower there. I would consider this setup a 'skill improvement setup', it's pretty forgiving.

Also, try to lean back when braking and lean forward when accelerating, that helps for grip while cornering I have found. Oh and downshift when braking, your back end will swap a little bit but usually not bad but it will help with braking.

i got a new computer with windows 7 and im having a hard time finding the mx simulator program files. i typed in this at the adress bar C:\Program Files\MX Simulator and it says this file cannot be found. i also checked threw all the program files and couldnt find it

If you have a 64-bit computer theres 2 different program files folder paths.

try puting your stab up more and try to more use the outside (berms) of the the corner, thats what i done when i was learning

They are under the rm and rmz model names in game, so select that model then look in the skin selection menu for the KTM's.
