[BLENDER TUTORIAL] Import heightmap and place objects

Post by MX4EVER »

Hi guys,

I share with you my tutorial on blender 2.8+ I made for another game but which should be very helpful for you too.

Please consider the following differences :
In the video the unit is metric, in MXS you should use imperial.
The video doesn't speak about the JM file export.

As said in the video, if you follow what I say (set all origins to 0), it will be easier to set up you statues file.
You should save 1 JM file for 1 fence type (KTM i.e.) etc. Then add a line in your statues file like :

Code: Select all

[0 0 0] 0 @trackfolder/statuefiles/myfence.jm @trackfolder/statuefiles/myfence.ktm.png null
If I had this tutorial back in 2009 my life would be way easier, so I hope this will help you guys !
