Re: Track of the Week Series week 5: 2012 MotoSport rF National Rd02: Freestone

I recommend running erode on this track when played on friday. It has to be cranked up pretty high however. But honestly it works good enough on the old tileinfo. Breaking bumps form and ruts get deeper lol. Ive been riding it a bit and I think around 4-8 would be good depending on how many people s...

Re: Track of the Week Series week 1: Black Mesa

I get the feeling that the sample size for votes was way too small. This track while being good for its time doesn’t really hold up that well imo with casual play. One second I’m good and the next I’m barrel rolling into the ground with a random front end grab / tuck. It’s actually quite frustratin...

Am I allowed to do a couple haha. Re: Casual track of the week series?

I think it would at the very least provide some casual racing that people would participate in. I would be very down for it! However, can we see if we can get new tracks to be released under the casual track name to help them stand out and bring in new content? I am working on a track right now and ...

Re: sphere mapped sky to sky box conversion

When you do the "cd" command does the command prompt show the correct directory? Well I actually got it to work. Photoshop just doesn't export in the right format so I had to use gimp which I saw other people having issues with. Also, does povray alter the photos at all? The export image looks a li...

Re: sphere mapped sky to sky box conversion

Finally got around to this but I am still getting the same problem. its still on my desktop as well. Here is what my makeskybox.bat looks like set povray="C:\Program Files\POV-Ray\v3.7\bin\pvengine" %povray% /EXIT +FN +A -D -w1024 -h1024 -k0 -osky-n.png skybox.pov %povray% /EXIT +FN +A -D -w1024 -h1...

Re: sphere mapped sky to sky box conversion

Your current directory has to be the folder where you extracted the zip. So for Windows, first "cd c:\wherever\you\unzipped\skybox" then "makeskybox.bat". If you're on a Mac the shell script (makeskybox.sh) will probably work. Just edit the "povray=/opt/povray/bin/povray" line to point to where you...

Re: sphere mapped sky to sky box conversion

- Run "makeskybox.bat". You might have to edit the first line depending on where you have POV-Ray installed. I am able to render the images manually one at a time, but when I try to run the batch file, I get "Possible parse error: cannot find skybox.pov" Any ideas on how to fix this? I am using POV...
