I haven't heard of someone using 4Chan in like 8 years . Pretty sure that's long dead no?

Re: Track of the Week Series week 1: Black Mesa (Cancelled! Revoting for next week.)

I could see how an official MXS discord could be nice but I don't think it would replace the forum. That was what I was thinking. The forum should definitely still exist and not be replaced. But an official community discord could definitely help gather the community in one place to exchange inform...

Re: Track of the Week Series week 1: Black Mesa (Cancelled! Revoting for next week.)

This is called laziness. That is 90% of new gen kids. They don't understand reading resources or forums or how to use the internet in general. Nowadays they ask someone they know or plug their questions into an llm and expect immediate responses. That being said, I do think that discord is more con...

Re: Track of the Week Series week 1: Black Mesa (Cancelled! Revoting for next week.)

I admit, I don't even have a discord account. I thought it was just chat without the permanence of a forum or something like twitter or reddit. "How do you do fellow kids?" Idk if you've ever used slack at a corporate job or anything like that but it's pretty much like slack but for gaming instead ...

Re: Track of the Week Series week 1: Black Mesa (Cancelled! Revoting for next week.)

i mean forum for me is fine since i kinda check it every day if im on pc but i can imagine for new people a discord would be nice, dont think its a bad idea anyway to go with the hype/future to create an official MX Simulator discord and keep everyone up to date as well as updates/snapshots as funr...

I wouldn't be upset if we skipped this one

I lied, just checked and it's 2k terrain. But it somehow feels like 1k terrain detail despite being at a scale of 1.

Re: Track of the Week Series week 1: Black Mesa

+1 laptimes are long as well being 3+ minutes I was hitting about 2:30's with legs offs and slideouts the entire lap so a clean lap would be about the length of an average pro national. My guess is ~2:20-2:22. But the track feels so random that going that pace is asking to crash. Also the chatter f...

Re: Track of the Week Series week 1: Black Mesa

I get the feeling that the sample size for votes was way too small. This track while being good for its time doesn’t really hold up that well imo with casual play. One second I’m good and the next I’m barrel rolling into the ground with a random front end grab / tuck. It’s actually quite frustrating...

Re: Developer's log

Would you ever consider having any help? I know you’ve built it all by yourself and that’s amazing in and of itself, but I think having 1 or 2 more people helping bring more optimization and features to the game could really bring the spark back to this game. It is still hands down the best motocro...

Re: 2025 MotoOption Supercross Round 5 Tampa

I'm not gonna blatantly hate on the tracks but I am going to point out a criticism I have of the tracks this year. I'm not sure why but the consistency in terms of scaling / quality has been all over the place this year. I know sometimes you need to make adjustments due to the layout but it seems li...

Re: Possible bug: Constant crashing when deleting decals

Yeah this is happening to me right now. It seems to happen if I press x multiple times on a small group of decals close to each other. Kinda sucks because im not used to constantly saving, so I lose a decent amount of work when it crashes. Makes me wonder about a auto save feature lol. Just a guess...
