Re: sphere mapped sky to sky box conversion
I am getting a similar problem to colton and I assume its because I don't understand what to do here "cd c:\wherever\you\unzipped\skybox". I have changed the install directory in the bat to point to the povray install location. When I run the bat and get a bunch of different errors from pov ray whe...

Re: sphere mapped sky to sky box conversion
I am able to render the images manually one at a time, but when I try to run the batch file, I get "Possible parse error: cannot find skybox.pov" Any ideas on how to fix this? I am using POV-Ray 3.7 on Windows 10 via Parallels on my iMac. I have edited the makeskybox.bat to point to the correct POV...

Re: Game start up issue
Actually, you can add an exclusion for a folder. So the thing to do is make an exclusion for the install folder and the personal folder.
Re: UID 48643
The only time I saw him go off track was when he was tangled with someone. Really, if it's important enough to report it's important enough to provide timestamps.

Re: Game start up issue
That's not actually a permanent fix though. But try adding an exclusion for .saf files. Could be almost as good.
Re: UID 48643
I couldn't find the incident.

Re: Game start up issue
It's creating an index of all the files in your install and personal folders. The first time it has to read it from the drive. The second time it's faster since Windows has cached it.

Re: 2025-03-26 snapshot
Good to FINALLY have a fix for this, what exactly was causing the crash? Did it even have anything to do with the tread marks? The bug was actually triggered when you move the first/lowest decal to a new sector and then delete it. The game keeps a map of which decals are in which grid sector for th...

Re: Possible bug: Constant crashing when deleting decals
That is interesting! I'm about to log off for the night right now but I'll definitely try testing deleting with multiple decals selected. Were you able to figure anything out from this? I have a new track that is crashing every single time I try to delete decals with Caps Lock on. I've built 2-3 tr...
