Re: Upcoming Models #2

Yeah I have both programs but prefer Maya. Started off on max at university but switched to Maya. Tbh it came down to the layouts with me...not any technical reasons. Like checkers says the industry use both. Just depends which the studios prefer,or in some cases they cater to both.

Re: Upcoming Models #2

Just working on the 3 curves at the back of the helmet... could do with some sneaky wireframes of other helmets to see how the front is constructed! Struggling getting my poly flow right and its annoying me!! The back look okish or whashizzle? http://i1188.photobucket.com/albums/z408/Break--/Side.jp...

Re: Upcoming Models #2

Ok well I've got work in an hour. I'll do which ever ones the most people request by the time I come back. I have to say....I'm a fan of the SE3 and I'm thinking of buying one. There aint any "true" side views on the net. They're all a little off and I want to get the scales right. If anyone owns ei...

Re: Upcoming Models #2

I think the pipe re-routes two ways, one way goes left into the engine somewhere and the other one goes straight down and connects to the metal piece directly under it which you have circled at the bottom. Yeah it looks like that but I just dont know how to model it....I have no idea what it could ...

Re: Upcoming Models #2

Hiya guys, Im having a bit of trouble finding images on the web for a particular part of the engine. Just wondered if any of you could help me out.

Does anyone know where the Radiator hose leads here? And the where the wire/tubing goes coming out of the engine? They're hidden behind the exhaust!

Re: Upcoming Skins and Shader Maps #2

Does 14,460 tris include the wheels? If so, how many tris are just the wheels, so we can get an idea how much only the bike is. But to get an idea on how others have layed out their bike's UV's, you can simply look at their wireframes: Wilson's Crf250 DJ's Yz250F A couple things that you want consi...
