You guys REALLY need to work on your shading. Its pretty bad. Sorry. Try not to blue everything so much. Look at real pictures. Look at shiny plastic.

I like the skin. But tone down your shading. Try to get your shadows not to be so black and your highlights not to be so white. Get a bit of orange in there.

Overlay settings? What'd you mean? And I think really the only parts that look "hand drawn" that you mention it. Are the shrouds, maybe the airboxes.
