Re: Political Debate Thread
So the right are the pinko commies now? They're obviously the Russians favorite target now. I actually think Joe McCarthy was right in that he recognized a real problem. Every time I see something about some poor victim of McCarthyism I go and read about the victim's history and they always turn ou...

Re: NEW to MX Sim (looking to purchase)...Advice required
The stock tracks(in the demo) were made with much slicker traction (something completely customizable by track creators). They’re still very helpful to play IMO to practice throttle control, however pretty much all tracks these days are much stickier and grippy. Slicker traction is good for you. It...

It might just not be the right game for you. You're free to keep playing the demo free of charge. Thanks JLV for the reply ;) Again, i must emphasise that it's not that i don't appreciate the hard work, dedication and persistence in trying to make this game (sim) better; trust me i know (having use...

Re: 2022 AMA Nationals Round 4 High Point
I stopped complaining about tracks when I realized everything y'all complain about is the exact OPPOSITE of what I want out of the tracks. They really are trying to meet us in the middle, I imagine it's tough when everyone wants different things. Exactly. Some people say its too rough, others want ...

Re: Release tracking
The best strat I've had for years was to just read through jlvs posts and you can get a good idea of what's planned. Currently since the amd update came, the terrain overhaul (how the game draws and renders the terrain is horribly unoptimized) and I believe something along the lines of a lighting u...

Release tracking
Would a release tracker for what’s slated for next snapshot and following snapshots be helpful? I feel like I see so many requests and never know the status and assume jlv has something in his pipeline.

Re: Display Client's Modified Files to Client
Since there's already a checksum system in place that checks clients tracks vs server's tracks, I'm wondering how difficult it would be to display to the client what files are different from the servers? Ex. Client track modified - does not match server's track (track_folder_name) Client files modi...
