It would take about 16 gigs to texture the whole track at the max resolution. To make it work in less memory the game progressively uses less resolution the farther you get from the camera.

How come that you didnt make Mx simulator to run with DirectX instead of openGL? i think openGL is kinda 1996.. And i think the graphics would be alittle better with DX..

As he has said before, there is no difference between the quality of OpenGL and DirectX. There just seems to be alot more support for DirectX

mine says cant find game data and i looked at what tyskorn said but i cant find mx sim install folder is that personal folder please help i want this new snapshot

I had the same problem. Re download the snapshot, but save it in program files. Once it is there, erase the first mx.exe file and rename the new snapshot mx.exe or mx what ever the first file that you erased was. Mine is just mx. Read the, "read this first topic" inthe general dis. and go step by step with the snapshot directions. Read the first step, then do the first step. Go step by step and it should not be a problem. I'm using windows7, it took me a couple of tries, but now I got the new snapshot. It has better handling than 1.3 version of the game.

Dude whats your problem i already went tio my drivers website the dont have an update

you need to find out what kind of chipset you have then go to that website. If im not mistaken most of the chipsets out there are ati or nvidia. Do some research, if you cant find it put up what kind of gpu you have then maybe one of us can help out. Im new to computers but the information is out there, just got to look. Your gonna spend a lot of time on this game anyway, so do the research and get back if its still not fixed.
