Problem with gamepad in linux

Hi Guys, this is my fisrt post in this forum, and initially i want excuse for my English....

I have the problem with gamepad on linux (my distributions are Ubuntu 9.10 and Opensuse 11.2), when i go on "custumize control" an i click for assign comand at gamepad, nothing happens... as if there is no gamepad.

Linux see my gamepad, and it works with other applications

I have the demo version, and i test this game on windows, and it works good with gamepad...

I want to buy, becouse is very nice, but i have this problem...

my gamepad is a "Saitek P880"

The game expects to find the joystick at /dev/js# but USB sticks are at /dev/input/js#. I need to update that, but you can get it working for now by symlinking /dev/input/js0 to /dev/js0.

i have another questions for you, if i buy license for linux, i can use it for windows??

Yes, put the saf files in c:\Program Files\MX Simulator and then run the 1.3 update installer.
