Bike swapping out on me

Post by Ashes »

Not sure if this has been asked before - if so - please just point me in the right direction.

My bike swaps out on me, or kicks out sideways when I hit steep jumps. I'm not sure how better to describe this, but I hope someone has experienced it also.

What suspension setting should I be looking at?
I tried upping the rebound damping at the back - but it made no noticable difference.

When I watch sx fastlap demos - the bike track dead straight. What do I need to do?

Thanks in advance

can't really say much without knowing your bike setup.

it might be that your preload or compression damping is too high.

Record a demo of yourself, then watch it carefully in slow motion. Make sure both ends compress evenly and don't bottom out on the jump face.
