in my own opinion. i think that a good handel bar system would work along with great Y and X axis movement and leaning. theres really no need for a seat and i dont think that the rider movement would be as great. please correct me if im wrong. and that would also curt down on costs. $300 is quite the amount of money for me. in my book id rather get a new bell helmet or parts. if i were to make somthing like this i would put all the movement into the handelbars and make a simple shifting/braking system for the feet. i hope this helps in some way.
best regards.

Hi chuey, that is what I am doing, all bike and rider controls on the bars except shifting and rear brake on foot controls.

i hope you make it like this, but all with the handelbar movement on the Y axis. and my apologies i must have seen a video of a controller with a seat and thought it was yours.

That link you gave IS me and the pivot point is on the y axis, center of the bars as on a real MotoX bike, BUT the same system has the same mounting point as in the system pics you have seen if you want to ride in a Superbike/MotoGP sim.

Just an advice : On your vids, you play with 3rd view but for a sim controler, you MUST use the internal view. MXS is very different and simulation feeling is very realistic and will be easier to get with internal view (and in GPbike too).
- front lean axis, maybe pushing the bar to lean rear could be a nice feature. Like the arcade game 'motocross madness' if you can remember ^^ But reversed : rear lean= extended arms.

The only reason I used 3rd person view is because everyone wanted to see how the bike reacts to steering, I ONLY ride in 1st person, ie on the bike. You guys need to start thinking. This is a sim, NOT a REAL bike, you are not physically moving, therefore, laws of physics do not apply.
