Graphics and Latest snapshot

Post by honda379 »

For the latest snapshot i click on the link and then the normal pop up comes up. It says Run dont run or cancel. When i click on run all it does in stead of downloading it, another pop up comes up and says cant find game data??? Am i doning anything wrong? Also, when i watch my races i record, the graphics are no where near the videos on youtube... like the gear isnt detailed, the bike doesnt really roost, and when i fall my guy doesnt crash? Does this have anything to do with the new snapshot i couldnt upload? Please help. And again im a huge noob at this, i got the game yesterday. Thanks much appriciated

click "don't run" then save it onto your desktop. here's the file so you don't have to navigate to the other post: http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mx-2010-12-22.exe
Once you get it on your desktop move it to: C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator
after that create a shortcut to your desktop to use mxsimulator with.

Turn up the setting in the Graphics menu ingame. And put the roost up around 400

If you have an Nvidia graphics card you can go turn the 3d setting up to "Quality", im not sure about the other graphics cards, I suspect you can still do that.

You either have one or you don't, it's hardware for the computer. http://computer.howstuffworks.com/graphics-card.htm
Theres different brands but they all do the same thing.

If you're looking for more detailed bikes and gear try the models/skins section of this forum or puremxs.com.
