Hey guys, after playing online all day for the first "real" time ive started to enjoy racing again but ive also noticed a real problem for new players.
As i have a background of MXS i knew to downlaod the models and the stickied things, BUT it still frustrates me to see a mile long list of missin things everytime someone knew joings the race. i started to make al ist of things people were using and try to search for them but i ran into so many dead ends i just gave up.
My idea: a database were users upload there creations like PureMXS BUT server side access so when you join a race and there is material you dont have you can choose to download or not to download the content. This would save the hassle of downloading countless low quality skins that you or anybody else ever uses to ensure you have everything you need.
I also thought of a few other things, I think it would be cool if the racers had a mini-site were players could have there own profile/team profiles, upload material (like above) were they could mark it private or public, there team, achievments and what not. Private skins and what not could be downloaded and a file extension could be used to make the game read them but not make them selectable by anyone not authorized by the uploader in there profile. Also a ingame preview of skins/bikes has got to be on the list of things todo i was suprised to see that it hadnt been done already.
But overall as expected sim is a blast! keep up the good work JLV

I like really like your idea, because im a new comer to this game (loving it!) but the one thing i dont like is that i have to download all the skin and put in the right place to get the "real" look off the other players, but i would love if there would come a server where you would got you own profil where you could upload you skin that you wanted to race with and the other play then just loaded it when they join a server
