if it still lags keep turning stuff down tell its fixed. you have to restart you game every time you change something accept roost and volume etc.
man what a difference, i turned roost off and have had no probs since then. used to lag bad for me with anything more than 10 players, have played since with 16 and no lag. excellent tip thx.

Has anyone else had an issue while racing online (while using the lowest settings possible) when shifting down actually shifts you up gears? Or when you relase the dab button the rider stays dabbed? The lag seriously confuses the contolls for my game and makes it nearly impossible to race. Any advice for this kind of problem? :?

i had the same problem on my old computer (P4 3.0ghz, 1 gig ram, 256Mb video). it seemed that the game was so processor intensive that sometimes my rear brake would lock up and shifting would reverse (down for up, up for down). now i dont mind reverse shifting, i have my ninja set up that way, but i dont want it to randomly switch! LOL since ive been playing on my new computer i havent had a problem with controls acting funny, so i figured it was because my computer sucked.

I've never seen an issue with the keyboard, but I really only use it for the menu. I thought a quad core processor, 1.80 GHz, 4.00GB RAM would be enough to handle online (especially with all the visuals degraded)... which it is most of the time, but it tends to worsen as the game progresses visualy.
It's probably just time to upgrade my pc.

quad cores mean nothing in this game. it only runs on a single core. a faster processor would help a ton i believe.

The controller should still work under a heavy load though. It sounds like the controller's driver is missing a message when things get busy and getting out of sync with the actual controller. I'm not sure how you can resolve it. Maybe try lowering MX Simulator's priority level.
