I agree with Yz. Mostly because the huge variety in systems. Like the "normal" setting is low for me, but it may be perfect for someone else. So i end up having to change them manually in the advanced menu anyway.jlv wrote:It would be possible but I'd like the presets to take you to a known setting. I forgot to ask you, is the alt-tab behavior any better now? I think you were the one asking about that before and I was hoping the new mode switching code would help that.yzmxer608 wrote:Finally tried this out. Would it be possible to edit the presets at all? It would be nice to customize your own presets (even if it was just editing the presets you have now and being able to save it).

Re: 2011-09-20 snapshot
SOMEONE HELP. i tried to install the snap shot using mx prodigy's video on vurbmotogamers and it didn't work and now every time i try to play the game with or without the snap shots the crashes at the loading screen!!!! i need help !!!!
Re: 2011-09-20 snapshot
The version is displayed in the bottom right corner of the screen when the menu is up. For the crashes, first try installing the 2011-09-22 snapshot. If the crash persists post the problem details and what graphics settings you were using.

Really the only reason would be to have everything maxed out just for screenshots, I still have the change some settings now. I also run some lower settings than what the preset is normally, they're all over the board, for my normal settings I use:jlv wrote:It would be possible but I'd like the presets to take you to a known setting. It seems better now, once in a while it seems like it tabs out but the window stays up (sound cuts out and I can see my mouse moving on my second monitor but the visual part of the game you can still see). Normally doing another set of alt+tab fixes it though. Also that was trying atl+tab repeatedly just to see if it would screw up, so far so good thoughjlv wrote:I forgot to ask you, is the alt-tab behavior any better now? Glad the alt-tab is at least improved. For the presets, it looks like you're running pretty close to "normal" + 256x256 with no roost. I'm not sure I want to go to 256x256 on normal though since a lot of cards and integrated GPU's only have 128 MB for graphics.
