Or use it like me, semi automatic. Shift down the moment you're braking and tap your rear brake for just a minisecond. Otherwise your backwheel still will aply some force to your bike. While if you tap your rear brake your rearwheel will just follow.

Yeah, Vets here need to offer more of a helping hand, How many new people have walked away shortly after purchase becuase they werent given serious answers to help thier problems?
I mean i understand you dont want everyone to know your secrets but come on!

Here's the thing though, the most useful "secret" vets have is simply practice. And it seems quite a bit of the new guys don't seem to accept that as a valid reason for why the better guys go fast.Xtrem wrote: Yeah, Vets here need to offer more of a helping hand, How many new people have walked away shortly after purchase becuase they werent given serious answers to help thier problems?

I mean, I can for example tell here to lean back while braking, use both brakes, angle the bike for the corner and brake only what's needed to not blow a corner and do not coast for a fraction of a second after letting off from the brakes, but it's quite another thing to actually do that properly.
Another thing is the constant search by some people for ready made solutions without putting effort into learning stuff like bike setups. What setup works for some has no guarantee it will work for others, and even if you happened to stumble for a good setup for a certain track, what happens when you go to another track that needs tweaking on the setup to ride good? With no idea what the suspension settings do and why, they're left with subpar setups and then keep bugging faster people for another setting etc.
A few guys have asked my help for the suspension setup and I'll gladly do so provided they actually put some effort into it. I mean if you can't be bothered to read the suspension setup guide that's right here in the forums and then play around with the settings to learn how they affect the bike's handling, why should I bother to give you a setup or help you when I've put that effort in and actually learned how the thing works. I doubt many of the better guys here try to hoard info at all, but there's a limit to how helpful people want to be.

Those who possess strength have also known adversity.
