One more thing!!! Make sure the motherboard you pick out has the right socket for your CPU. I would also recommend one with the Z77 chipset. PCI-e 3.0 (in case you upgrade to a gtx 6xx), and native USB 3.0 support, meaning it's integrated, meaning that's good, also it should have a USB 3.0 header on your mobo, which is good if you have a case with front panel USB 3.0 ports :p

Sorry for the double post.. :p

Oh my gosh... triple post, sorry...

POWER SUPPLY: Corsair or Seasonic. I'd recommend 650W or higher, (modular is also really, reaalllyyyyy nice, little more expensive though)... I'd also try to make sure you go with 80 PLUS GOLD, less heat per watt, which is good. If I'm wrong on that, someone please correct me.

Again, sorry for the spam.. 0:)

The most important component to play MXS, for a computer is a power cord. Without it, you will never be able to run anything. :D

I bought a 650 watt PC Power and Cooling power supply this summer. I believe it's a re-branded Seasonic. Very disappointed in it. It had an annoying coil whine and then died after a few months. The modular plugs were nice though.

Yeah from what I've heard don't buy Seasonic. Didn't realize that my OCZ 850W 80+ gold power supply was made by Seasonic and it's missing some of the important components a real 80+ gold should really have. Corsair makes a good PSU. I used to have on but sold it because it was 650W and needed more.

Correct me if wrong, but doesn't Seasonic actually manufacture some/all Corsair PSUs? In any case, Corsair products just look down-right sexy, and their customer service is great (speaking from experience here). Haven't bought anything Seasonic though, so I can't speak much on their behalf.

Price could potentially be lower than what's listed, especially if you want to go with a smaller build (micro atx). I'm thinking maybe ~$100 less.
