It doesn't do 3d now. Shouldn't be that hard to add though.

In first person it would probably pretty cool. Never tried 3D gaming before though (actually haven't seen a recent 3d movie either, last one I saw was spykids ).

Please do this JLV, I'll be purchasing a very nice 3D monitor here soon and would love it if MxSim was in 3D!

I asked this about a year or so ago and got the same answer. But by JLVs response I couldn't really tell if this is something the community can add to the game or not? But I figured it would have to be added by JLV. Either way I really want to use my 3D stuff for this game!!!!!!

That would be awesome. Would it be hard to implement eyefinity? I'm also considering playing on my 42" plasma. Anyone have any videos of playing the sim on a big screen?

I did it just to say I did it. I didn't really have a setup that was comfortable so I moved back to my monitor but it was really nice with the wheel. The desk can get cramped with the wheel there too so it was a plus there.

As far as quality goes I was using an HDMI from my graphics card so it looked great. It was just I didn't have a setup to continue using it that way so I stopped.

I think there are some drivers that can hack it into working with modifying the app. To do it the right way I have to add the right options when I create the OpenGL context and then render the right and left views for each frame.

I think that would be a cool feature to add to the next snapshot! I hook my laptop to my TV and use a controller, so 3D would complete my set up lol.
