Ok, first of all I am running bootcamp Windows 7 64 bit on a 2011 macbook pro.
Specs are:
8gb of ram
intel core i5
Intel HD graphics 3000
I cant play mx simulator except on nearly the lowest settings, and playing online is a joke. Do you think it has something to do with bootcamp, or just the underpowered video card? With those specs though, I would expect it to do a little better.

Re: FPS issues on Bootcamp
Definitely a bit strange, but it is a laptop after all.
However I've got an iMac and even I have lag problems in the virtual machine frequently. Here's some steps you can try:
1. Reset parallels (or whatever programs your running boot camp from).
2. Make sure your Mac's software system updates are all up to date.
3. Don't have any other big application memory apps open (like Photoshop or Final Cut).
4. Run with the ground textures on "_____/copy" rather than "______/direct" wether you have ground shaders on or not.
Hope something in there helps!

Im using a 2008 Macbook with 4gig of ram...I run the game through crossover. Ive tried bootcamp and it sucks. needless to say my game runs smooth no lag even on big tracks ive never had a problem.

I was using crossover until it crapped out on me. It worked pretty well, but bootcamp just makes it run like crap. I'm thinking about just building a new PC. I really need one.mx114cr wrote:Im using a 2008 Macbook with 4gig of ram...I run the game through crossover. Crossover is definitely faster, and performance wise is far superior (I could run full graphics online with no lag, but with bootcamp I lag with full graphics even on my own). However, bootcamp is much more reliable, and having the full PC app lets you run PC only applications like the .Saf creator.

Re: FPS issues on Bootcamp
Mine was the complete opposite. I had to run stock models and the lowest of graphics on crossover. Through bootcamp it runs way better.
