Cornering....

Post by mx114cr »

I have been playing this game for about 6 months. I feel I have a pretty good setup for supercross. I can make it through the whoop sections which was a feat in itself. My lap times have been 1:08ish on 2013 supercross tracks. Im losing all my time in the corners. If i come on into a corner fast i shoot right over the berm, to slow and i tip over. Is there a trick to cornering or do I need to just practice more? I ride in real life which helps in this game, but my corner speed in real life is much faster than im able to do here lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its mainly your advanced stabilty if you turn down roll damping and there's a few other things here are some right here so you know what to turn down so you dont have to break so much and can go into corners faster without going over the berm.

Leveling - How much the bike wants to roll towards vertical.
Roll Damping - How quickly the bike leans over.
Roll Limit Angle - The angle when extra roll damping kicks in.
Roll Limit Factor - How much extra roll damping you get past roll limit angle.
Steering Damping - How quickly the bars turn.
Steering Strength - The force used to turn the bars.
Max Steering Force - The maximum forced applied to the bars.
Direct Steering - At 0, the steering control sets the target lean angle. At 1, the steering directly applies force to the handlebars.
Slow Damping Speed - Speed in feet per second below which you get extra roll damping.
Slow Damping Factor - Amount of extra roll damping you get below slow damping speed.
