I have been at this for a week and improved. Got to a 1.07 at Alcrest.
BUT.....Then i try tracks like hangtown and im over 30 seconds off pace and go down at least 2-3 times a lap. I have NO control on this track!!! So frustrating!
Everyone says, "just practice", i realize that......bit come on. Videos make it look so easy!
is this normal?

The difference between a stock track and Hangtown are huge. Just because you are fast at one track does not translate to every track.

Re: is this normal?
I dont expect to be good at every track, but just would of thought things would go better if i got decent at a stock track. These tracks suck too....maybe i practiced the wrong way. Should of learned on a rough track.
I got the very basics down and just will take the next couple weeks to get better at tracks like hangtown. Then try supercross.
By then i should have a good enough handle to really compete online i hope.
More importantly, i just want to ride like in real life and feel i have that control. Then i would be happy and enjoy things even if i do lose. Then at least i know i did my best, lol....
This is hard, but worth it......i hope

Re: is this normal?
You need to identify your problems more specifically in order to fix them or get any useful advice.
Crashing shows you down the most, so figure out where your crashing the most. Turns or jumps? Flat turns or rutted out?
Also, give Supercross a try sooner rather than later of you're frustrated. Personally I think it's easier than the hard rf national tracks. It's st least flatter and you may cash less (street a bit of getting used to it).
The better you are at identifying your weak spots, the better you will be at fixing them.
