Just found this game through a friend, downloaded the demo... and buying full version on payday! This game is insane, I thought MX vs ATV: REFLEX was awesome but this is just amazing.
MASSIVE respect to all involved in the creation and development of this simulator! Apologies for my beginnerness lol, but...Just out of curiosity, do most people play on first person view? I find the third-person view much harder to judge speed.
And as for thanking everyone who was involved in the creation of mxs, it was made by only one guy, Josh Vanderhoof(JLV). However there is a rather large collection of people within the forums who create extra content for the game such as track replicas and real life bikes along side content that is just pure imagination.
Not sure if you've noticed yet but there is series replicas every year such as the AMA nationals and the GP series.
I doubt you'll get bored of this game/simulator. Just try not to annoy anyone on the forums because if you get a bad name for yourself you'll get a lot of stick from people which is pretty ridiculous seing as though most people here are adults.

LOL. Plenty of people play 3rd person too. I'd guess the split to be about 50/50. Play with whatever you're most comfortable with, don't listen to dickbags on the forum who try to make it seem like you're taking the easy way out by playing third person.
Don't see how I was being a dick, just stating what I beleive. I always play third person, I find first person impossible. I enjoy the way you always seem to knock down everything I say and make me look like a dick

I just got the game only play in first person, for me the speed feels more realistic from that perspective. I am completely hooked, and love the physics of the game without arcade mode on. Don't hesitate to buy it, it's already my favorite game I've bought in many years.
I am a First Person rider, it get's hairy sometimes on the rougher tracks and when you learn to go fast (I am not quite there yet lol) it can be really fun.
1st person does help to see the breaking bumps a little better also easier to see the ruts entering the corners, but it can be tough to convert after playing 3rd person on reflex.

Keep playing in first person and you get used to it, IMO its much better in first person
