Kind of new to MX Sim

Post by GrimmRider »

Hello everyone, I am sorta new to the wonderful world of MX Simulator, I downloaded the demo a year (maybie two?) or so ago and couldn't get into it at all, sort of didn't understand the physics engine of it. Last august I had a really bad get off on my street bike and during my down time I went on the hunt for a simulation I could really sink my teeth into and get my hooliganism out in full stride without the risk of loosing my class M endorsement or crashing doing something stupid. My crash was just circumstance and a lack of understanding of the physical dynamics of the situation that arose and had me tumbling over dry asphalt.

On MX Sim I am addicted to the 1st person view and riding long dragged out 5th gear clutched up wheelies, hill crest wheelies, anything lofting the front wheel is awsome on this sim! I love the physics, I love the handling, I love how hard it is! This is a pure simulation of riding regardless of any weaknesses you may be able to point out, it gets the job done in a way nothing else seems to.

My major curiosity is how to ready on an online race? It seems when I joined on, it was waiting for me to ready up and I have no idea what the controls are, I have searched but you have to understand, no matter how narrow I make the search on this forum there is SO MUCH information that it's near impossible to sort through in a timely manner so in turn I have been running offline and it's getting kinda boring to not have real riders to hoon around with.

I ride on stability at 32, all other settings tweaked a little to suit my style and really enjoy the difficulty of the tracks, bikes, and getting realistic, solid, "feel real" laps out of the bikes and tracks. Backing it down into corners totally sideways and powering flat track out the end of them has me grinning every time and like I mentioned, I would love to ride with other people but can't seem to find what the controls are for the online part of the game.

MX Sim is by far worth twice the price, I happily paid in full and enjoy supporting a good community such as this one!

Thanks for the help if you can offer any, I appreciate it alot! Not to mention how glad I am to be part of MX Simulator, it is a wonderful way to spend a few hours riding without risking it. I am mostly a dirt rider in real life although I am not a motocross guy, never have been that far up in the air on a motorcycle, and prefer to keep it on the ground, but moto sims like this make it a wonderful experience (very rewarding) to land a clean whip over a monster triple.

Noob for a little bit,

Grimm

I'm glad you like the game! To answer your question, you can request a restart in the multiplayer menu.
