jlv ,i need a limit of polygone for this game ,my models have high details
for exemple,i work for the game gp500 and the limit of the polygone for the models are 4056

i'm guessing that's a wee bit too much. looks good though. if that's a rider model for mxs your working on it might be better to make him look like he's wearing mx gear instead of leathers. imo

There is no limit on the polygon count, but if you want it to run on cheap motherboard GPU's I'd recommend keeping under 1000.

If you want to do a really nice job, you can make reduced detail versions of your model to be used at a distance. For example, there are two different wheel models right now. For the front, they are "front_wheel.jm" and "front_wheel_lod4.jm". "front_wheel_lod4.jm" is only used when you are at least 16 feet away.

There are 10 levels of detail. The distances are:
lod0 = 1 foot
lod1 = 2 feet
lod2 = 4 feet
lod3 = 8 feet
lod4 = 16 feet
lod5 = 32 feet
lod6 = 64 feet
lod7 = 128 feet
lod8 = 256 feet
lod9 = 512 feet
