WHOOPS
Anyone have any good tips on staying stable through the whoops? I try to lean back like in real life and balance at the same time but I always loop out or tip over...But sometimes using this method I get through the whoops looking like Tomac at daytona...how could I get more consistent? my settings feel amazing on every other part of the track on mx and sx but the whoops has been my achilles heel!
Re: WHOOPS
What i do is i flick my joy stick on the control back every single whoop, sometimes that will cause your front wheel to get stuck on the whoops so you will need to find a good time to not flick the stick back and when to do it.

Re: WHOOPS
I usually pull back just a little bit on the very top of the first whoop and then let go of the stick. works 90% of the tie for me. I also use stiff forks and a soft shock
Re: WHOOPS
Depends on the whoops. If they are bigger, I snap the joystick back on each whoop. Otherwise depending on the size, I can go through them without even touching the joystick, others I have to pull back for the entire thing. Most time's I'm just constantly pulling back.

Re: WHOOPS
use manual transmission( if not already), every set of whoops is different. Try holding it wide open in just 1st or second gear the whole way through. as you get better you will be able to use 3rd or even 4th. I don't normally lean forward or back in the whoops that much as I find it makes me crash easier as soon as I try to.
You will find the right speed for each set of whoops. at first try and leave the stick neutral the whole way until you get it mastered.

Re: WHOOPS
You can also try to lower your shock compression damping but it helps only if the bike is getting sideways

Re: WHOOPS
sorry I never replied guys I forgot to check back here. I got a really really good setting now for supercross and motocross but also works great on whoops now. I figured out I needed to flick the stick a while back and it's working a lot better
