It should work on debian. It's built for 32 bits so if you're running a 64 bit OS you'll need the 32 bit libs.

Re: mxserver-2014-02-21-1221
You might have to open outgoing UDP port 19799.

Re: mxserver-2014-02-21-1221
Having a weird issue with my server. If I'm not connected to it first, others get the contacting server error. Once I'm connected they can join fine. After that if I disconnect others can still join afterwards (was tested while at least one other was still active in the server though). Any thoughts?

Can you tell us more about your server ? Where is it hosted, at home, on a dedicated, ..? Do you use simple ip address + port, or canonical, or something like hamachi ?yzmxer608 wrote:Having a weird issue with my server. Hosted on my PC, just normal ip and port.

I'd guess it's something your software firewall is doing. Your router wouldn't know about your initial connection since it never leaves your PC, so it's probably not the forwarding rule. It might help to explicitly open UDP 19800 in Windows firewall instead of just allowing mxserver through.yzmxer608 wrote:Having a weird issue with my server. Re: mxserver-2014-02-21-1221
Didn't realize I never replied to this, I'll have to try it again since the first time it didn't work but I rushed it.jlv wrote:I'd guess it's something your software firewall is doing. server, serverrate <bytes per second>henrikh wrote:how do i change the rate on the server?
Sets the server's outgoing byte rate in bytes per second.
