New to Mx Simulator

Post by Frantic »

Hey guys!

First of all, i want to congratulate the creators of this fantastic game and everyone who helped to their creation.
I started to play the demo a week ago. I play with stability at 25 %, but i have some difficulties with landing (lol) and some turns.
Today i bought the game, and i'm extremely satisfied. IF you please could advice me with some techniques, skins,Bike setup and tracks downloads i would be a happy person :D

Thanks, Frantic.

(sorry if the thread is on the wrong place, but it seamed to me the right place xD)

See you online! :P

Welcome! Everyone has trouble with the game when they first start, so don't feel like you are the only one ;). It is usually better to start at a higher stability (arcade off) like 80, then ride a few laps until you don't crash as often, then move it down 10 and do that again. If you are doing ok at 25 the best thing to do would be just to practice. Practicing is the only way you are going to get faster and not crash as often.

If you go to http://puremxs.com you will find most of the new tracks and skins/models released.

Hope the helps :).

As the other guys have mentioned, this game is all about practise and how you practise! You need to think about playing this game similar to how you would approach riding a bike in real life for the first time.

Start out going nice and slow around one of the stock easier tracks and start to build from there. (As mentioned start at a higher stability - 80ish) Also using a controller makes it much much easier to play. You can use a keyboard, and many people do however the system of either 0 or 100% throttle and steering really makes it difficult to learn.

When you just start out try putting in some nice, clean, slow laps and see how many laps you can do with out crashing. If you are having trouble with jumps, think about it like you would in real life. Line up straight and try to jump half the jump. Next lap a bit further, and then a bit further again until you can make the whole jump.

Once you are comfortable decrease the stability until you are at a level of around 25-35 which is where most people hover.

Again this game is about practice, but it really is one of the most rewarding games around.

Also make sure you check out the latest snapshot (Which is the latest update) - http://mxsimulator.com/benchracing3/vie ... f=1&t=3154
along with the heap of user content that makes the game look amazing - http://mxsimulator.com/benchracing3/vie ... f=7&t=2371 and

If you have any questions ask in here (The FAQ which is found at the top of the forum) - http://mxsimulator.com/benchracing3/vie ... f=1&t=1212

Good luck and have fun!!

This game has a high learning curve reminded me of MotoGP series for xbox. At times it can be very frustrating but stick with it and you will be better. You won't magically get better over night it takes time and practice. When i started i couldnt even finish the race i would get lapped and wreck 10 times a lap. As far as bike setup goes play around is all i can say i have spent hours upon hours to perfect my setup. As far as i know i ride 100% different than anyone else ive seen on the game. This game is kind of like MotoGP in the fact you cant just hammer on the throttle always. Try watching some of the fastest people and watch how they get on the throttle, take turns, and brake. Like they say smooth in fast out!

you might also want to download peazip or winrar so you can extract stuff to mx simulator exe skins and gear. Also if you want to make videos you can download fraps and if u want to do some skin and gear work. Gimp or photoshop are pretty decent places to work with. good luck with everything and welcome to mx simulator. :D have fun :D

Thanks a lot guys!

I see that i've just entered to a very nice community :D

hmm i dont crash 10 times a lap.... maybe... 5 or 6 xD

And i understand that this game needs practice and time. I reduced my stability to 40 and i think it will stay there XD

Thanks to all.

Frantic.
