Playing in 3rd person...
That changed quite a lot over the years, back in the early years only a few played in 3rd (me included), now i feel like it's quite the opposite.
One thing i always hated in 1st person was that i never know what the rear end is doing, something you would feel in real life. 3rd person view visually gives that feeling back.

Idk, you can definitely tell what the back ends doing after a while in 1st person. but when i try 3rd person i cant tell what the front is doing lol. so same problem both ways
