Thats some little kid riding it though. In the game it will be a full size adult riding it so it wont clear anything near that big.

why couldn't the size and weight.. be compensated by lack of horsepower?

Actually as long as an adult can reach the same speed (it would) it would go the same distance, if you disregard aerodynamics, which wouldn't play a big part at that speed anyways. I'm pretty sure inertia is what makes it behave like that. I'm also pretty sure I saw a video of Ken Block when he was practicing distance jumping in the rally car where he said he just followed a dirt bike over the ramp.BuddyTheElf wrote:Thats some little kid riding it though. Re: 85cc
People dont seem to understand the point im making (I'm also talking about the game here, not real life). The distance between the exit of a corner and the jump takeoff on most tracks is set up for the 250 acceleration. When the 85 exits said corner the run up isnt long enough for it to reach the speed necessary for it to clear the jump. The fact that it could clear the jump if it had enough speed is irrelevant because it just cant accelerate fast enough between the corner and the takeoff to clear the jump. That's why i keep making the point of power to weight ratio. If the rider in the game weighed less, then 85's would probably be able to clear the same size jumps but otherwise they wont be able to. Posting endless videos of 85's being ridden by 10 year olds hitting some big jump doesnt prove anything.haydugjr wrote:Actually as long as an adult can reach the same speed (it would) it would go the same distance, if you disregard aerodynamics, which wouldn't play a big part at that speed anyways. Re: 85cc
yeah you have less of a distance but you will just be WFO (Wide F**** open) arounf the croners the way they are set up now. Or think of it as a challenge.

Re: 85cc
Buddy , you make a clear point. but , the corners will be way more rail- able on a small sized bike.
