Remove Collisions

There's your disabled collisions.

He can't just 'tone down' the collisions. The collisions need to be predicted because of latency. The higher the latency between riders, the more inaccurate the resulting collision force will be

Not sure what collision prediction is but I just hope he updates the collision shapes on the bike and rider before nationals start.

i think this sounds like a decent idea... I literally just had the rage quit out of 03.. becuase some people, for the last 3-4 rounds, did nothing but try to ruin other peoples race.. i had the win in the bag in the last race, and they kept hitting me WIDE OPEN and knocking me across the track... I think slow speed collisions, you should almost never go down... and everything should depend on how the bikes actually collide... Im not programmer or anything... but i KNOW a better system could be made.... if this could be done, and ERODE put into online racing.... oh man, it would be so sick

this is also very true... it seems like there is a big box around the bike and rider.. and you can miss someone by a foot or two, but the game still thinks your hitting!

how would turning collisions off make the game boring as fuck.. the only way yall have fun is to punt ppl or what? and to the guy that said that it would be just everyone riding around doing laps and not racing, you're and idiot. how would it not still be intense racing. if dude is .5 sec behind you in a battle for the lead, its gonna be intense af whether he can punt your or not. personally i would think it would make the races more intense, and we would see a lot more battles due to the fact that everyone wouldn't just be punting each other first chance they get, and ending the battle after only a few corners. or not getting wrecked by downed riders, or goons that cant hold a line.

now im not saying i want collisions disabled. but with the difficulty of this game, the broken collision system, and the way just about everyone plays this game, something defiantly needs to be done.

He has said he wants to work on the collisions. If you are expecting him to come here and say "ok ill remove collisions", you are crazy.
