Re: Dallas Whoops settings
Thanks for the tips guys, but really, no matter which way you slice it, its approx. 50/50 chance that your going to make it through, no matter what you do. Highly unrealistic, perhaps an issue that can be looked out in upcoming updates?

I think it feels a tad realistic when you can loft the front wheel at the start of the whoops, but when the front drops, the front won't stay straight. In RL you can prevent the front from twitching, these physics, the front deflects off of whoops uncontrollably. Thats what it feels like anyway.

it feels like the rider needs to have some resitance in his arms to stop the bars from moving like in real life? if that makes sense?

Frederick, from what i understand, rider leaning could be quite some time away

Re: Dallas Whoops settings
I'll improve the rider motion once I've finished updating all the old track's textures. Hopefully sometime this month.
Here's the most consistent way through the dallas whoops that I've found -
Set the compression damping to 10 for both the fork and shock, 50 rebound.
Put it in 3rd coming out of the corner before the whoops and just hold it all the way though. I let off for a moment before the triple then pin it again.
Make sure you hit the top of every whoop. If you clear one things will go badly in a hurry.
When setting up the suspension, it helps to watch a replay step by step (pause then . to step). You want it to soak up as much as possible without bottoming.

Thanks JLV,
For my next track should the whoops be easier or the same?

Re: Dallas Whoops settings
That's a tough call. If anything I'd make them a bit harder so you can't just fly through in 3rd or 4th gear. But they seem pretty popular as is.
The one thing I'd try to improve would be the inside lines. I don't know if it's just me, but the only way I can get around is on the outside, and even then it feels like I'm stretching to clear the first jump most of the time. I'd like the option of going inside, rolling the first and then doubling the rest. When I try that now, I can't clear the first jump and wind up singling the whole section.

Re: Dallas Whoops settings
I made the jumps so far apart because i figured they would be alot easier on a 450 because most of the time 250s cant clear all the jumps. I agree with you about the inside lines, but when i try to make ruts and dig them in, the bike just catches it so you have to make them really large. On my next track im going to try and focus on being able to get back in rythem fairly easy.

Re: Dallas Whoops settings
I liked dallas becuase it was realistic as far as scale and the way it flowed, most the tracks now will be worthless when we get 450s becuase they will over jump everything.
