first for all good job, i have a question about "Added --min-version to require a minimum client version."where
--min-version <version>, what its the sintax of the version , i check it on propietis of the client and not say nothing. and waht its the last version
as example the readme say:
Sets the minimum client version that the server allows. Example:
--min-version 2 ==== i dont know what is the las version for the client 22-9-2010

That's what this was telling you:

As for the client version, it was 1 for a long time.
Then it was bumped to 2 in the 2010-07-07 snapshot.
Then it was bumped to 3 in the 2010-07-21 snapshot and is still 3 as of now.

Really? Im trying to ask where to put it? lol. Personal folder or the folder with the server args and all those.

It's self contained. You can unzip it anywhere you like.

I'm not 100% sure if this is the place to ask questions about the server thingy, if not sorry <3.

So I've got my 'server' running, but its intended for LAN play, since thats the only type of connection I have at home at this time.

However, when I connect after about a minute it says 'Key server not responding - Goodbye' and it dropkicks me out, or well it Disconnects me.
Is this because I have no internet and the server tries to connect to a 'key server' which checks my UID?

And would there be any way to fix this, apart from getting internet?
(I guess I just gotta fix internet anyways, but for now a solution would be appreciated.)

Why can't I save my trackinfo files anymore? I go into the track and put /savetrackinfo it says not connected to the server, then I put it again and it says it saved to trackname.trackinfo. I check the trackinfo folder and they don't show up..Why is this??

Because the trackinfo files get saved to the personal folder, not to that folder which is elsewhere on the computer

hey i was looking at some of your posts you seem to know quite alot about this game, i have just got the game and have managed to download a few bikes and tracks to my mx personal folder and they are all unziped. the problem is that when i go to play them in the game they dont work and it is really starting to annoy me. i love the tracks that are on the game but i want new ones, COULD YOU HELP PLEASE PLEASE .

hey im on windows 7 and when i open the folder after i extracted it to desktop and open the program mxserver the command promt comes up for like a second and dissapears and nothing happens can someone help

Use the runserver.bat not the mxserver.exe to start the server. The bat will automatically pause and show you the error.

Ain't THAT the truth! Seems public servers become chat rooms and you're forced to read the gossip on who distributed whom's secret new gear or bike for 10 mins before they decide racing might be fun.
