How to make xbox 360 controller work with mx sim?

Okay I have a wireless xbox360 controller hooked up to my pc by a play and charge kit. But when I turn it on all the lights do it blink and it doesn't work. How do I make it work?

For realz, use google. If it works in the game controller panel, but doesn't work in the game, then post here.

I've set one up for my brother, it's not all that hard, just read the instructions.

That's BS because I searched just to check and found an answer right away.

Xbox contollers can't hook up via play and charge, they have to be wireless.
I'm really not trying to be an ass, but lately there has been way too many stupid threads.

ok all i did was went out and bought a WIRED not wirless with a play n charge cause they dont work. took my WIRED controller out of the box plugged it into my pc fired up mxs and changed all the controls in costomize controls then i started racing

You can use wireless AND wired. Google xbox 360 software for pc and that's all you need. Run that, go in the game and set your controls. Took me 5 minutes.

cant use a play n charge you need a special pc adapter for wireless it would just be easier to go buy a wired one
