I know I saw a post like this before, but I want to express my opinion on the issue. For a beginner player who LOVES this game, I find the sit/dab function extremely frustrating. The problem is, because I am a novice, I am riding in 3rd person view, and It is very difficult to see whether I am standing or sitting. I have to continually look at my player closely, taking away my attention from the next corner, jump, etc. I understand it is easier to notice when you are in 1st person view, but I am not comfortable riding with it for the time being, and need to continue to gain skills in the 3rd person camera. It would be SUCH a huge help to have an on-screen notification just saying sitting/standing in a box of some sort. I know not all people want more things cluttering the screen, but I know there is novice/beginner players like myself who would benefit from it. I don't know much about coding, but I doesn't seem to me like something that would be that difficult to achieve. If someone could do this for me I would be very grateful, and I know it might even help this game gain more traction for new players who are frustrated about the difficult learning curve.
Either way, Thank you for making such a great game. I am soo happy I found this game after wasting a year of my life on Mx Alive
I mean sure it would probably help new comers... But really as you ride with it you can tell what you are doing in both views. You get to learn which position is which and it becomes like second nature as you become better and get used to the whole thing.
If this was implemented I am sure it would be similar to the lean indicator, used for new comers and turned off for people who have played for a bit.
I suggest just keep using it and you will know without even thinking about it soon. Even if JLV does implement it, it would probably take a few weeks to months to be released, by then it will be super simple for you. Just get used to it trust me.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have sit/dab on sticky or not? I am currently using it with sticky on and having it on the L3 button for my 360 controller. I have thought of a way to do it without having sticky on with maybe the a,b,x,and y buttons but I can't find a way without limiting my braking or my lean forward/back while holding it.
Yep sticky is what I am using. If Ian correct L3 is pushing in the left stick? I push down my right stick with sticky. It honestly is funny I was in the same boat when I first started. Now I don't even pay attention and know exactly my position.

Alright. Guess I'll have to just keep at it then, it gets easier every day but you know how the learning curve is. Thanks bro
