Possible Snapshot Problem

Post by Will-Hughes#205 »

Im not sure if its just my pc or something but ive never noticed it before. My skins seem to have green and purple spot/splodges on them, it sort of looks like the normal map has been applied to the skin set to Overlay and on a very low opacity. It shows up most on black stuff. And it isnt just happening ive made recently it shows up on my old skins.
Image
Its hard to see in screenshots but its much worse in game.
You can see it mostly on the seat.
In that picture i also removed the spec map and normal map on the gear so that it eliminated the chance of the normal map being used as a spec map.
Anybody know why this is happening?

I am sry I cant see anything like green ad/or purple splodges. What graphic settings do you use ? and you might wanna check if this happens in other games too or just in mxs ?
Tennis, Basketball and Baseball all requires one ball
Motocross requires two!

Make sure you aren't compressing textures. I was getting the same issue on finer detail stuff with it set to "yes" and "always."

No problem. I once redid a helmet in Illustrator trying to get better quality and couldn't figure out why a vector graphic was showing so blurry in game.
